The Thinking Christian is foremost a ministry to the church and it’s
members, and secondarily to those who are searching for truth.
The Thinking Christian is
managed by Steve Wood (bio) as an outgrowth of his apologetic and evangelistic
studies.
It is our goal to provide
- Pastors and
teachers with training and resources in apologetics, evangelism and basic
doctrine.
- Christians with
apologetic support and motivation to continually develop their knowledge
of God, so that the gospel message will be proclaimed more faithfully.
- Those who don’t yet believe
with an accurate understanding of why the Christian faith is founded on
fact and opposed to all other religious views.
Our Mission
- To assist church
leadership in developing the members of their respective churches
through cultivating the mind, body and soul, primarily through
discipleship patterns;
- To counsel, assist
and deliberately impact the lives of pastors of local churches through
the work of Biblical encouragement;
- To conduct and
model the work of evangelism through valid apologetics and Gospel
proclamation;
- To preach and teach
at local churches, regional conferences and retreats in the Northwest,
emphasizing the thoughtful Christian life;
- To actively
encourage Christians to develop an accurate worldview; and,
- To promote and develop Christian education in
the Northwest.
